Best Practices for Responding to Campus Sexual Violence

It happens on every campus: students, employees, and visitors are subject to sexual violence. Every college not only has a duty to prevent these incidents but also to respond to incidents when they occur. This seminar will provide a roadmap for institutions to utilize when creating, evaluating, or even improving upon existing practices for responding to campus sexual violence. In addition to discussing policy and procedure requirements and best practices, this session will offer ideas and tools to define campus roles, develop crisis service and response, garner stakeholder buy-in, and more.
