Sharon Perry Fantini, Ph.D., MBA

Sharon Perry Fantini is a Partner at TNG and a member of ATIXA’s Advisory Board, with more than two decades of experience in higher education. Her work focuses on civility, fairness, and respect, as well as Title VI, Title VII, Title IX, ADA/504 compliance, and civil rights policy development. She serves as a consultant, trainer, and external investigator for institutions nationwide.
Perry Fantini develops and implements campus-wide initiatives on prevention education, bystander training, and inclusive practices. She is a frequent speaker and trainer on gender-based violence, cultural awareness, and implicit bias. Her contributions have been recognized by state and national organizations, including an honorable mention from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)/Minority Opportunities in Athletics Association (MOAA) for her work with student-athletes.
She has delivered impactful presentations at prominent events organized by the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities (APLU) and the Chronicle of Higher Education. Her talks have focused on building capacity for success, addressing socioeconomic challenges in higher education, and navigating Title IX regulations. She has served as a peer reviewer for the American Psychological Association’s Journal of Diversity in Higher Education.
Perry Fantini has served as a Title IX expert for the College and University Professional Association in Higher Education (CUPA) and was selected by the Ohio Department of Higher Education for the Chancellor’s Special Committee. She also contributed to public policy through the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE), where she submitted a briefing to Congress on Fisher v. University of Texas. She previously served as Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Iowa State University. She has also held multiple leadership roles at Tiffin University, including Vice Provost for Equity, Access, and Opportunity, where she oversaw the responsibilities of the Title IX and 504 Coordinator.
Perry Fantini approaches her work with a commitment to systemic change and coalition-building. She is known for connecting research, practice, and an inclusive strategy to help institutions thrive.
She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Management from Capella University, and an MBA and B.B.A. in Human Resources and Organizational Management, both from Tiffin University. Furthermore, she also holds numerous professional certifications, including the Certification in Effective Teaching from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE). She is certified in human resource management, cultural intelligence, effective teaching, bias and cultural competencies, Title IX administration, civil rights investigations, and ISO Quality Auditing.
