With almost two decades of experience with the Office for Civil Rights, Spear brings extensive expertise in compliance, equity, and developing initiatives that promote fairness and inclusion across campus communities. Spear serves as the Vice President for Equity, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX at the University of Southern California, where she manages the response to all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She leads proactive education and outreach programs to foster a safe, inclusive environment for students, faculty, and staff.
