Tenielle Tensley, J.D.
Tenielle Tensley, Esq. is a consultant with TNG and serves as the General Counsel of the Kern High School District, the largest grades 9 – 12 public school district in California. Prior to being named General Counsel, Ms. Tensley worked as employment counsel for over 40 California school districts providing a wide range of assistance in labor and employment matters including sexual assault/harassment, investigations, training, discrimination, evaluations, progressive discipline, and discipline issues. Ms. Tensley's public school practice also includes Title IX/Title VII, equity compliance, policy development and trainings, litigation oversight and management, and governance. Prior to entering public service, she worked in private litigation practice. Among other professional affiliations, she is a member of the National Council of School Attorneys and the California Council of School Attorneys. She is a member of the California State Bar with several admissions to federal courts. Ms. Tensley received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
